Well, it's four o'clock, and I will call the uh meeting of the Board of Public Works to order.

First item on the agenda is called to order, so therefore I have accomplished that.

Uh number two, revisions of special assessment SW twenty twenty-six-008 seven from eighteen sixty-three point seven two to sixteen sixty-two point eleven due to measurement error.

So this was uh unique situation where uh we had um two sets of staff that the first set uh did a measurement and then the actual resident came in and are um pleaded a kind of a case that they did not agree with it.

So then the uh another staff went out and measured and they remeasured um and there was um revisions to it.

Uh but since the it is ultimately a special assessment that was already issued, and technically it's uh a revision and just based on segregation of duties and best practices from audit, it's recommended that that type of situation be go in front of a committee.

So the staff does agree that it was appropriate.

That the initial the original measurement was an error.

Item three, the revision of a special assessment SW twenty twenty-six-1080 from four forty-seven eighty-five to two twenty-eight fifteen.

Due to reduction in slabs completed by city for remove and replace sidewalk program.

Yeah, I can definitely do that.

So this one was part of the R program that the slabs were replaced.

However, the slab that was replaced by uh sorry, let me back up the RNR program.

If you're not familiar, the city contracts it out with uh the pro the um contractor that is awarded.

Uh this happened and it was that the contractor over.

Um Julie Ober did the part that would be assessed to the owner.

Uh the current the person that normally follows up on that was out on uh extended leave.

So this got issued in twenty-five and is now just being corrected by coming back.

So we have a twenty-five as part that we just need to uh issue based on the revisions or the review by staff, it was an error by the contractor.

And estimate third and final from Shells Mechanical Inc.

for library HVAC rooftop condenser, compressor, and HVAC main controls in the amount of sixty-four thousand five hundred and sixty-three dollars.
