The City of Manitowoc Personnel Committee met on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers and via Zoom. Members present were Norell, Schlei, Beeman, and Benzinger; Ald. So we can call the June personnel committee meeting for the city of Manitowak to order. Uh first item is roll call. All members are present with the exception of Alder Sitkowitz, who is unable to make it this evening. Um next on the agenda is public comment. Is there anyone here from the public who'd wish to comment? Second call. Third call. Anybody online for public comment? No. Any previously submitted public comment? No. All right, we will close public comment. Next on uh the agenda is the consent agenda. Um items that members would like to remove from the consent agenda. Otherwise, I'll take a motion. All right, next uh uh all right. First item under discussion and action is item 26-047. Request to approve the updated seasonal hiring pay rates for 2026. Thank you. Uh so this item is our seasonal pay rates. We're adding one new position over in the DPW shop for a seasonal stock room clerk apprentice. And um, this is a position that we're going to be kind of transitioning the former youth apprentice into more of a stock room inventory uh employee. And we're just hoping to get approval to pay at the range between 16 and 18 dollars. I also wanted to point out that um there are a couple jobs on here that still need to be updated um for the name change between DPI to DPW and parks and rec and we will be working through that during the budget budget season, and probably you might see this again this year. But today we'd like to just get approval on that 16 to 18 dollar range for the stock room position. All right, any questions for Jesse? Hearing none, take a motion. Motion to recommend approval.
