Um, but first I need to acknowledge uh one of the unfortunate things that's gonna happen here is this is Brent's last meeting.

So um just want to say over the last uh you know quite a few years, you know, Brent has really done a fantastic job of taking on the finance department.

Uh he's filled many many roles from uh being public works director for a short period of time, being uh city engineer for a longer, well, acting engineer department head uh for a long time, um just being an amazing asset to the city in so many different ways.

Uh it's very tough to to see him leave, but uh definitely want to give him uh uh huge amount of thanks for for all the work he's put in for the city.

Mason City Council Meeting – June 16, 2026
