So I I had that idea, and then I also thought that on that first second Saturday in October, that we have a walking map, and not too difficult, just a walking map map prepared for people to experience so that they get the idea of what the experience is walking through all of that.

But but those, you know, we have I have those are the ideas I'm going to take to committee when we meet again.

Um we also got um we're doing one at Dollar Tree.

Um, so we got these liquors, Dollar Tree's going in, Peggy Seuss, Western Alliance each have one.

Um, and I've got a little bit of money left over, like 1900.

So I've asked her to price out a second site on Western Alliance and Peggy Sues, and we'll see what she can get done on those.

Um, because of issues with the treasurer at Morph and a lot of personal issues going on over there with health issues.

Um, it's been difficult to try and get money from them to get Sam the down payments.

My question is if it's only um a couple hundred dollars more to get a second side on both Peggy Sue and Western Alliance.

Um, I'd like to propose that um PAC um pick up the difference um that it may cost us.

Um we do have some money sitting over at Morph.

Um, some of it's for first Friday, some of it is just our money sitting over there where people have made donations.

So um that was what I wanted to bring up.

Just uh I just wanted to comment.

I have a 16-year-old home who's super excited to go with the high school to their nationals for their theater group.

So it's just kind of something that's exciting right now.

So how's how's the money?

How's the the fundraising going?

I think they've their fundraising is I mean, I think they're still looking, but I think most of it is, I think they were able to fundraise most of it and get most of it through.

I know there were a couple of large donations, um, and then uh a lot of sort of medium-sized donations, and then um they did all kinds of different fundraiser.

Um they sold like at first Friday, they were selling snow cones and popcorn and stuff.

So I think they did.

I know that my daughter attended at least a half dozen little things like that events where they would go and have the opportunity to like make and sell things and stuff.

So I I think they've raised most of the money at this point.

I mean, I could be mistaken.

Bethany maybe knows more, but uh but I think they were pretty close the last time I talked to the theater director, the teacher when he's that is fabulous.

So they're flying out Sunday morning, the 20th, and then I think they begin the process first of the week.

Yeah, I I think that they there's some um they they do some meetings, they do some workshops, things like that, and then they they present at that point their their production.

They already they already had the uh presentation at the high school in the in their cafeteria common space, and uh Eureka had uh furnished a spaghetti dinner for them fundraiser.

Yeah, I know that, but I meant for the competition is the oh do we oh I see what you're saying.

I did because they'll be competing against other consume all the other 50 states, so it could be a large yeah, it could be it'll be all I think she's planning on being gone all week, so pretty much the whole week.

But that would be that would be really awesome if somehow we could arrange a uh a line and then broadcast it on the theater screen.

Even if it could be brought, even if it could be zoned taped or something, yeah, and then yeah, we could be shown later on.

Yeah, and we could arrange for a community viewing, yeah.

Well, this is this is very very exciting that we've got I mean they're almost there last year, but they went they made it this year.

So Mitzi Okay, um I have a something that I don't know how to solve, and I don't know where to go.

Okay, so it has it has to do with rehearsal space.

Um trying before we even get into talking with community members about uh putting on a battle of the bands, school of rock, which you know hopefully would like to do that throughout next year, the process of that.

And in kind the the uh amphitheater, which they would like to open on the second Saturday in October.

Okay, so which would give us another performing you're talking about the amphitheater heritage center?

The heritage center, yes.

But what we need is that we need a rehearsal space that all of these people that are going to perform can rehearse at.

And I was wondering if there was an empty room somewhere around the city close by our historic disk district that we could put a set of drums in, because that we'll probably end up having to rent a set of drums for six months or something like that.

Put a piano or electric keyboard in, and then it would be like a rehearsal room at a university in a music in a music department, and then you have a sign-in sheet, you know, you go in with your group or just you or two of you, whatever, and you sign up for an hour or two hours.

There's the list is on the door, and they go in and they rehearse for their commitment that they're gonna do.

So one of the things is is uh so this is definitely for performing arts, but I feel I'm the performing arts representative, um, and and Bethany on the council.

So this is something that has not been talked about before, I do not believe.

Is that correct, Steve?

Uh having a rehearsal space for the city.

Um, not that I've heard of.

So um I I don't know if it's doable.

I would, you know, maybe someone or a business owner would have a you know, uh a room uh and you know, or or a couple, you know, we could work back and forth, but we really need to have the hard the hardware in place in order to do the software, you know.

You know, it's like that.

Well Mitzi, I I don't mind looking, and I got probably any of us could look and ask around for friends.
