Nick Alphonsetti, Mesquite, Mayor, Council. First off, Travis, I want to thank him for uh stepping in and taking care of what had to be taken care of just over the weekend. Uh with all the signs being popped up and that. Uh you know, I guess some people just don't know what our ordinances are here, even though Clark County has their own ordinances. So I think we sent a message to uh Mr. Beaumont. So uh that's number one. Uh I guess is there gonna be comments on what's being in the workshop today? Um well there'll be a public comment on the workshop in general. Okay, so yeah. Thank you very much for your time. Okay, thanks, Nick. Okay, seeing no one else come forward, go ahead and move on to number two, our work session. Um have anything to add? Subtract. Okay, no. Now, Nick, we're having public comment on the work session. Mr. Mayor, City Council, John Rosen. Um the agenda has an item on it, item 5.4, which is an application for conditional use permit for a short-term rental. I just wanted to make you aware that the master plan committee uh met yesterday to discuss uh a proposal that I had submitted. The discussion was long, it was healthy, it was fruitful, uh, but we did not get far enough to actually reach a conclusion as to what kind of a recommendation, if any, we would present to the city council. Uh we left with uh an action item for all of us to do additional research and meet and discuss it again at our next meeting. Uh I'm bringing this to your attention because if the proposal that uh that I'm working on is accepted, it would have an impact on that particular item. So I'm just uh suggesting to you that you might want to table that item uh pending the uh the outcome of our our decision. I'm fairly confident that our decision one way or another will be made at the next faster plan committee. Thank you. Thanks, John. I I'd even wear a helmet. I understand that uh since the person had filed before the mandate or the uh uh what do you call it or the moratorium? Moratorium, thank you. Uh before the moratorium, uh they kind of got the impression that they would fall into everything that was before the changes in the ordinances. Um that kind of reminds me of uh getting a coupon. And just because you didn't cash in the coupon, you didn't fulfill the coupon. You think you're still under the old coupon, even though it ran out of date and it's late. So I just say uh consider it that way that they would apply and in the application since it wasn't signed from what I understand. Uh now let's complete it thoroughly and fall into the new code.
