Um and what they do is they have a station with the bags, and then anybody can just come and get the bag, pick up the trash, and then leave the bag there.

So we're really asking people to be stewards of the space.

Uh and it's been very, very popular, and it's just about getting everyone into the habit of of cleaning up because as you know, it can be overwhelming, especially on on the long weekends.

The infrastructure piece is not that complicated, it's just about finding the locations and then having someone go and pick up the bags.

I mean, we we are the committee, the recreation committee, and I do appreciate that because we always wait for these big bay cleanups and park cleanups and beach cleanups, and the reality is that we have to be better stewards of our uh natural assets and making sure that we educate people and understanding that they have the ability to go out and clean up, should clean up after yourselves for God's sakes.

So um, but the reality is that that's something that we should be doing and making sure that we uh continuously promote these type of programs.

So I appreciate the fact that you're bringing this to us and yeah, no, it really is about the park staff and if they're open to you know the logistics of it, because there's a little bit of logistics involved.

But the interesting thing is, and to your point, um chairman, um unfortunately a lot of people don't clean up after themselves, but fortunately there's a lot of volunteers that care about this, and instead of having them wait for these big events, they could just come and do their hours and they can just come and clean up.

I mean, we have an army of people that dedicate every a few days every week to going and cleaning up at Crandon because that's how much use we get.

Like I was saying earlier, we're we're closing um Crandon and Bill Bags at one o'clock, one thirty um every weekend now because there's just so many people coming.
