A special meeting of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners was held on March 5, 2024, primarily to receive and accept the Public Health Trust of Miami-Dade County’s annual external audit for fiscal year 2022-2023. No public comments were made, and the audit was presented by Jackson Health leadership, noting an unqualified opinion and the 13th consecutive year of profitability. The commission unanimously accepted the audit.

And um to tell you that it comes unqualified with no uh no exceptions of any kind. And uh for the 13th year in a row, we we've been on the on the on the profitable side.
