Uh, of course, I'd be remiss if I don't uh do a special shout out to my two youth commissioners, Commissioner Quintana and Commissioner Puente, thank you for being here as well.

And and and to my colleagues, one of the things that I'd encourage you all to do if you're not already doing is something that I do with my youth commissioners, that I make sure that I invite them and almost kind of make it mandatory that they come to out to my events in my district and they work and they get involved with the community so they get the full experience of what it really is to be a Board of County Commissioners uh at an early age, right?

So I I treat them hey, hey Commissioner, Commissioner, I treat you with respect and kindness.

Uh but no, thank you guys for being here, thank you for everything that you all do, and we look forward to our joint meeting and and seeing what you guys have for us today.

Well, I'm a big fan, and all of my youth commissioners have stayed in touch and gone on to do fantastic things.

I wish I'd had this opportunity.

Uh, but I was student council president in my college, so hey there.

That was where I got some of my you didn't know that.

Okay.

But if we want to learn how to run a good meeting, watch the youth commission.

These people have got it down, and I'm sure that our chairman has been watching, and he has been putting uh into practice some of the great, great uh um well, the great substance and process, the process that they use, which is so respectful, so civil, so democratic, and we're very, very proud of you.

And to my commissioners, Javier Perez and Shakina Moonpremier, uh, we have to take a page from the the vice chair here, and we got to get you out to some of our events.
