And whereas to kick off National Entrepreneurship Week, the City of Myanmar Economic Development and Housing Department in partnership with Camp Embark will host an entrepreneurship workshop for local youth.

And whereas National Entrepreneurship Week will focus on the innovative ways in which entrepreneurship education can bring together the core academic, technical and problem-solving skills essential for future entrepreneurs and successful workers in future workplaces.

  • Temp. Reso. #R7813 awarding the East Water Treatment Plant Deep Injection Well Mechanical Integrity Testing Services contract to A.C. Schultes of Florida, Inc. (not-to-exceed $99,600).

Public Comments & Testimony

  • Eileen Spence (resident, 6771 Panther Drive) spoke about health hazards in her home, including toxic mold, termite infestation, and incomplete repairs from a city program that began in 2015. She stated termites are crawling everywhere and she has found them in her ear. The city manager directed her to meet with the Social Services and Community Development department directors to address the issues.
