The City of Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee met on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 5:50 PM in City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting was called to order by the Chair and included a closed session to discuss development agreements and property purchases. The committee returned to open session for two action items, approving one and taking no action on another. The meeting adjourned at 7:29 PM.

Closed Session
- The committee entered closed session at 5:52 PM under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(E) to discuss the following items:
- C.1 – Discussion regarding potential development agreement terms for residential developments in Tax Increment District (TID) 9.
- C.2 – Consideration of a development agreement to support a residential development in TID 7.
- C.3 – Consideration of an updated contract to purchase city property on 21st Street.
- C.4 – Consideration of purchasing land for right of way at 13th Street and 31st Avenue.
- The committee returned from closed session at 7:26 PM after a motion passed 4-0.

Um we will um readjourn back into open session for two of two of those orders of business. So the first order is 19.85E, deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require the closed session. So number one, discussion regarding potential development agreements terms for reset residential developments in TID 9. Um second order of business will be consideration of a development agreement to support a residential development in TID 7.
