The Finance and Taxation Committee of the City of Monroe met on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 5:10 PM in City Hall Council Chambers. And Alder McGuire. Here. Are there any corrections to the April 27th, 2026 minutes? Hearing none, those will stand as written. Um, first two orders of business are in closed session. Um, and then we will be uh be coming back in after those with that discussion back into open session. So business closed 19.85E, deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds or conducting other specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining bargaining reasons require closed session. Uh the first one is consideration of notice of claim submitted to the city of Monroe, and the second order of business is discussion regarding extension of option to purchase purchase land in TID 9.
