Um, so then we'll move on to our uh first item, which is consider 750 cannery row. Architectural review permit application ARP 25-0178 for resurfacing of an existing pool and associated site improvements at an existing hotel. I will share my screen. Super, thank you. Good afternoon. My name is Matthew Buggert, and I'm a senior associate planner with the city of Monterey's planning division. Today we're here to talk about 750 Canary Row or their architectural review application for rear improvements at an existing hotel around their pool area. Today's ARC meeting. The recommendation from city staff is that the ARC adopt the resolution to approve the architecture review application with standard conditions of approval. The site is located in the north northwestern portion of the city alongside Canary Row. The general plan zoning is VAF or visitor accommodation facility, and the zoning matches that. And there's also a jacuzzi uh in the back there. If you didn't know. Never knew that was there. I didn't either. Okay, just write down that trail all the time. The they will be removing the existing surface. They will be putting a new white plaster down, they'll be adding little tread strips to it and replacing the uh entry step handrails. Some of the tile around it is going to be updated with non-slip tech markers.
