If your comments pertain to a specific item on the agenda, reserve your comments until the item is before the commission.

0:58

Are there any public comments from the audience?

I don't see an audience.

1:03

So I guess we will move on.

1:07

Since we have received no additional comments from the public, we can conclude the general public comment portion of the agenda.

Oh, now the public comes.

Consent calendar.

These are routine items that can be removed with one motion and vote.

2:34

Good evening, commissioners.

2:37

Just a quick recruitment update.

2:40

On October 9th, members from our HR department and our police department hosted a recruitment booth at Napa Valley College College's annual career fair.

2:54

So we were excited to be a part of this event again.

2:58

The college partnered with the Napa County Committee on Disabilities to promote National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

3:08

So we this is our second time hosting a booth, so we were happy to be a part of that event again.

3:16

On the recruitment front, we held performance exams last week out at the courtyard for water distribution operator.

3:25

So we did two days of skills testing out at our courtyard, and we're holding panel interviews this week for that position.

3:34

Also last week we conducted in-person interviews for police officer lateral and our firefighter recruitment.
