For August 18th, 2025. And Caitlin, will you take roll? Commissioner Aguilera? Here. Commissioner Fitzgerald. Here. Commissioner Halliday? Here. Chair Mason? Here. Vice Chair Riesenberg is absent. All other commissioners are present. Thank you. Thank you. Item number two, agenda review and supplemental reports. Are there any changes to the agenda or supplemental reports? No changes. Okay, good. Public comment item number three public comment provides an opportunity for members of the public to directly address the commission on items of interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the commission. If your item pertains to a specific item on the agenda, please reserve your comments until that item is before the commission. I don't see anybody in the public, but are there any public comments? Okay. Since we've received no public comments, we will now conclude the general public comment portion of this agenda. Moving forward to the consent calendar. These routine items can be approved with one motion and a vote. If a commissioner wishes to discuss an item, they can request that the item be removed from the consent calendar. After the remaining items are approved, items which are removed are considered separately. Is there a motion to approve items 4A and 4B on the consent calendar? I'll make that motion. An item, we will now hear a report from staff on item 5A, which is election of officers, chair and vice chair for the August 2025 to July 2026 year. Thank you, Chair Mason. So as a reminder, we're bringing this item back from last month. And the recommendation is that we the staff recommends the commission to elect a chair and vice chair of the commission following today's meeting to serve through the first meeting in July of 2026 per civil service rule 11A2. Just a little more background, almost a year to the date, last August 19th, 2024. The commission elected Commissioner Mason to serve as chair and Commissioner Riesenberg to serve as vice chair. Chair Mason and Vice Chair Riesenberg have been serving their roles since this election was held in 24.
