If you like to provide a little bit of information on the course, I'm afraid I'm moving faster than the speed of the words in front of me.

So yeah, if you can give us a little background, no problem.

So before you is the 2026 Civil Service Commission calendar, and similar to last year, this was brought forth in the November regular meeting.

And the recommendation is for the commission to adopt the attached resolution to establish the 26 Civil Service Commission calendar and the attack and provide direction to staff on the desired revisions.

So before you, you will see that the third Monday, as specified in rule four, sorry, rule 11 part A, Section 4, that the regular meeting be held on the third Monday of every month.

And so next year we have three regular meeting dates that fall on a holiday.

So we're proposing to move those forward one week for January from the 19th to the 26th due to the MLK day.

In February from the 16th, moving it forward a week to the 23rd for President's Day.

And then in December, actually moving it back a week from December 21st to December 14th, because that is a week of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

And so those recommendations would then be viewed in exhibit A with the calendar of the proposed revisions.

So that is our recommendation.

So we move these and we reestablish the formal agenda for the for the for the year.

And then in the event that we don't have a quorum, how do we proceed in in those kinds of circumstances?

Great question.

So similar to what's happened in other instances where we don't have a quorum, sometimes we'll have to call a special meeting or cancel the regular meeting to have another date to get the commission back together.

And so if that were to happen, then we would definitely uh consider another date for that month, whichever month that would be, as long as you know it works for the other commissioners to pull special meeting together.

Caitlin, can you please provide an update on the recruitment status report?

Yes, thank you, Chair Holliday.

So last week we had two days of interviews for assistant associate planner in our community resources and development department.

And then earlier today we held phone interviews for our engineering assistant in our public works department.

And currently we're accepting applications right now for senior civil engineer in our public works department, and then also deputy utilities director in our utilities department.

So these are both high level management positions that we're hoping to fill in each of these departments.

The application filing period for senior civil engineer closes on November 30th, and then the application filing period for deputy utilities director closes on December 14th.

And just some other quick updates.

We're continuing to work on our continuous recruitments for our police department.

So we have a police officer lateral interview for tomorrow morning.

We also have another physical agility test for our police officer trainee position next Monday, November 24th.

So we'll be out at the college again doing that.

And then we're accepting applications for public safety dispatcher lateral, and we're currently running applicants through the credit call exam.

And those are our recruitment updates.

MJ, can you please provide an update on the expiration list report?

Absolutely.

So before you is the recommendation to receive the scheduled automatic expiration of eligible lists of candidates, and in exhibit A, you'll have the four various uh lists that are due to expire, which resulted in two hires, one in the fleet shop supervisor classification and another one in the water control systems analyst classification.

And so as Caitlin mentioned, we're still continuing the recruitments for the public safety dispatch uh position as well as police officer lateral.

So, so yeah.
