Meeting Transcript

The regular civil service commission meeting for November 17th is called to order. Please take roll, Caitlin. Commissioner Holiday? Present. Commissioner Mason. Present. Vice Chair Fitzgerald. Present. Chair Halliday? Here. Commissioner Aguilar is absent. All other commissioners are present. Thank you. Thanks, Caitlin. Any changes to the agenda or supplemental reports? No changes. Thank you. Next we go to public comment. Public comment provides an opportunity for members of the public to directly address the commission on items of interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the commission. If your comments pertain to a specific specific item on the agenda, reserve your comments until that item is before the commission. Are there any public comments from the audience? Seeing none, uh, since we have received no additional comments from the public, we'll now conclude the general public comment portion of this agenda. Um next we move to the consent calendar. These routine items can be approved with one motion and vote. If a commissioner wishes to discuss an item, they can request that the item be removed from the consent calendar after the remaining items are approved, items which are removed or considered separately. Is there a motion to approve um item 4b and 4C on the consent calendar? I move that we approve items 4B and 4C on the consent calendar. All those in favor? Aye. Aye. Opposed. All right, that motion carries, and now we'll move to item 4A. Oh, sorry, Chair. Was there a second for 4B and 4C? I have Mason as the first. Did anyone second? Did I say that? Ryan did. I thought I did. Okay. The blur. I saw a second. We're so smooth. All right. So moving on to item 4A. Can I have a um motion for 4A? Well, I have a question. Can we approve it with well with just two of us? Because Ryan wasn't there, right? Yeah, I was planning to abstain from that.
