Um but this is a uh public hearing to receive and hear from all persons that are wishing to be heard regarding the recommendations by the RP committee to award the public private agreements. This is for the animal shelter project, street department project, RV Park project, the mountain bike park project, and the Silver Street Park to our fields project. And then following the uh public hearing the commission will consider any input received and let it award the public private agreements to the offer and taking the action necessary uh for desired. So this public hearing notice was published in the news and tribe on April eighteenth, and the recommendation letters were sent to the members of this commission on uh April twenty night. So uh if there's no public comment, then I would pass for uh a motion to uh to close the public hearing. Last call make a motion to close the public hearing. Second all in favor say aye. Aye. A resolution of the city of New Albany Redevelopment Commission approving the award of public private agreements authorizing entry into transactions and authorizing certain matters related there to pursuant to the Indiana Code section five-23 regarding the animal shelter and the street department projects in the city of New Albany, Indiana. So this is a resolution that's outlining all the actions taken to date as both with the animal shelter and the street department. So you'll see within this new document that we uh the commission authorized the issuance of the request proposals in January in 2026, and that we uh commit uh the commission published the notice of the RPQ in 2025. We'll make that correction in February, um February 1st and February 8th, 2025, and then that we've received and reviewed uh all of the uh requests for proposals uh after those were received, and then a recommendation letter was sent on April 20th, as well as the public's notice for a public hearing on uh April 18th of this year, and this resolution uh would authorize and approve the uh animal shelter project and the street department projects and award the VOT agreements and other related documents as well as approve the commission to move forward with those projects and enter into the transactions with the selected offerer or offerers. Um as you all know, it's it's been about a year that we've been working really hard uh on all of these projects over spoken periods uh to bring these new uh public uh improvements to the city we walk these. So this will be for the animal shelter and then the street department or public works campus really needed improvements that we outlined to the council when we originally asked for uh bond approvals uh last year as well. So the mayor, um his team, uh reinvolved staff as well as the as the folks for the uh BOTs have been working really hard to bring this to fruition, and we are we are ready to go and uh to uh to bring these projects for the city. So I'm happy to answer any questions that you all may have. Very hard work for a very long time. Yeah, yeah, no, I I would echo that, Terry. Um, you know, uh obviously this is not our first four-way uh into these type of projects and and bots. Uh I think the the staff and the administration have done uh an excellent job of following the statute and putting all the pieces together. Um I would I would make a motion to to approve so we can move these forward. I think this is uh very worthwhile project, and uh both of these are well needed sort of uh to be taken care of, so I think this is anything. Absolutely. I agree with uh Mr. Lilwood and Ms.
