We had our public hearing for uh the VOT project, so that was for the animal shelter and public works, and then also for the Mountain Bike Park, work project and the turf field project.

Um and then the Mount Bright are the Turk fields the animal shelter and the public works BOT freedom resolution forward, and today we're seeing the turf fields and Mount White Park.

I apologize with a lot of projects moving forward right now in the city, so I'm trying to keep it all straight.

Um so this resolution does go through that timeline.

So the initial request and proposals was issued in February 2025.

Um the notice for the uh RQ in March uh first and March 8th is when it was published, and then we presented the recommendation letter from the RPQ committee to this board on April 14th.

Um so this goes through these two projects.

Um these are both projects that uh have been part of the mayor's effort to uh stay healthy and fit and connect uh the residents of New Albany to nature.

Um the uh uh not white park earth work is what really uh starts off our environmental effort down at the QRS uh former recycling center, so um that's necessary to kind of lay the groundwork for uh the Mount White Park and hiking trails that will come uh after that capping work has been completed.

Um so we anticipate that becoming a recreational destination for someone for that views uh from that area in the show in break.

So uh very excited about that moving forward.

There will be you know open to the public and have access for pedestrians with hiking trails as well as uh biking trails within that facility.
