Consent Calendar
- The regular meeting minutes of May 14, 2026, were approved as amended after a spelling/typo correction was noted; one absent member was noted as not participating/abstaining.
Staff Reports
- Stormwater Director’s Report – Phillip Aldridge: Aldridge said crews were working on a pipe system on Hidden Court. Past homeowner-installed pipes made of different sizes and materials made the correction more difficult than originally planned. Street sweeping and vegetation/grass cutting continued as crews tried to catch up after recent rain.
- Stormwater QPI Inspections Report – Westley Fair: Fair reported that problems at Fox Run Commons had largely been brought under control. At Marshaw/Westgate, inspectors noted “full mats” and “some silk things in the stand” after the rain; the wording is unclear in the transcript, but the issue was notated and correction was expected later that week.
- Financial Report – Ed Wilkinson: Wilkinson reported last month’s billing figure as $50,414 and cash of a little over $100,000, consistent with the written financial report.
Claims
- Claims covering May 14–27, 2026, with a grand total of $53,453, were presented and approved as presented.
Key Outcomes
- Minutes approved as amended.
- Claims totaling $53,453 approved.
- No new business or old business was brought before the board.
- The meeting adjourned following a motion and second.
Meeting Transcript
I end up getting looked like the last one just right there close by, so it won't have good. Mike Wallace, he was leaving, he was pulling out, and another lady pulled up there. I sit there waiting to make lift, but I told her to go ahead and take it. So I just went on down the farm and work. It's unusual that I don't know what it is on Thursdays down here. It's busy. Okay, I'm ready. Alright, let's go ahead and get to meeting call to order. Start with pledge of leadings. Our pledge leads to the flag. And to the republic for which it stands one. And individual with liberty and justice for all. All right. Should be the chance to review those. There was one type of already given to April. If you spelled my name wrong on the approval question of the following minutes, so I'll make a motion to approve it as amended. Okay, and I would second that. All in favor of that motion. Aye. Aye. Aye. All opposed no, so I'm assuming you're abstaining from that since you weren't here. Exactly. Any communications from the public? None. Any communications from city officials? None at this time. Phil, you got a report for us. We're working on a uh pipe system out there on a hidden court. Uh it looks like something that maybe the homeowners and in the past probably put in that we're gonna have to correct. Uh they've used different size pipes, uh different material to put the pipes in, so it'd be a little bit more difficult than what we planned on to begin with. Uh you know, we still have our sweeping operations continues and uh our vegetation uh cutting grass. We're just trying to clean catch up after all the rain. Yeah, harder to do. Yeah. Any questions from Phil? All right, thank you. Wesley, you got a report for us. We have uh quite a few problems out of Fox Run Commons, but seems like we've gotten all that under control now. Um, Marshaw, Westgate had full mats after all the rain and stuff we got, some silk things in the stand. We notated it, and hopefully they'll be taking care of it this week. Okay, any questions for Wesley? Eddie, have anything report uh on the finances this time? The villain for the last month was fifty thousand four hundred and fourteen dollars. That's what ready to grab in the budget before you have cash is a little over a hundred thousand birthday same as the report. All right, very good, thank you. Alright, I guess that would bring us to the claims. Linda, would you like to go to claims for us? Sure. Uh the date range is May 14th to May 27, 2026.
