February 17, 2026 Regular Legislative Meeting Summary
The New Rochelle City Council held its regular legislative meeting on February 17, 2026, at 11:15 AM. Madam Clerk, please call the roll. Mayor Raymond Herbert here. Councilmember Lopez here. Council Member Tarantino here. Councilmember Peters. Councilmember Office Oye. Councilmember Kay here. And Council Member Stern here. Good evening again and welcome to our regular legislative meeting. The first item on our agenda is um approval of the minutes for the regular legislative meeting on taken that took place on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, and the committee of the whole session, which took place on Tuesday, January thirteenth, twenty twenty-six. Um Lopez and Kay, all in favor say aye. Any opposed. Moving on to resolutions number nine, the proposed settlement of claim regarding workers' compensation. Um Madam Corporation Council, anything you'd like to add? No. Any questions or comments from my colleagues on item number nine? Hearing none, may I have a motion and a second? Um, adopting the resolution authorizing the settlement, please. Peters and Kay, all in favor say aye. Any opposed. Also, uh discussed during executive session. Item number eleven is a proposed resolution amending condition number four of the City Council resolution. It's the special permit for Hudson Country Montessory School. Um they presented to us a few months back. We had a public hearing last week. Um, any questions or comments for my colleagues on item number eleven. Hearing none, may I have a motion and a second adopting the resolution, amending condition number four of this resolution, please. K and Stern, all in favor say aye. Any opposed. Okay, just one. So we have one item for executive session related to appointments. May I have a motion and a second to break into executive session?
