So I know that this is the event of the season.

I am so thrilled to see all of these beautiful, strong women in one room.

It will forever be the privilege of my life to serve as your mayor.

Every time I engage with you all, I feel the love.

I feel the strength.

I know I stand on the shoulders of some amazing Sheros right here in this room.

So just know that on behalf of your city, we love you so very much.

We honor you, we thank you for your service, and I expect nothing less than a packed dance floor when it's time to dance, alright?

Welcome everybody to the fourth annual first story event, and it's been bracing up the Commissioner Parks and Recreation.

I'm gonna serve as your MC for this awesome brunch and keep this thing moving.

But four years ago in the city of Neurochell, this is just a crazy idea among city officials, and then with all of our great partners, collaborators, sponsors, and key community organizations, but most importantly, all of you.

This is now turned into one of the most popular annual events in the city of Neurochell.

So give yourselves a round of applause for making that happen.

And this isn't going anywhere.

Today we gather to celebrate the incredible journey of the senior women in our community.

Your strength, wisdom, and resilience continue to inspire all of us each and every day.

And we are truly honored to have you here for this special occasion as we celebrate in the month of March Women's History Month.

This gathering is not only a celebration of your achievements, but also a heartfelt thank you for the legacy you continue to build.

And we have a lot of others and owners here.

That's what it's all about.

It's a truly a pleasure to be here today with you as we gather like Vince at our fourth annual celebration.

I was here last year.

It was my first time last year, and I was so impressed with the turnout.

And then this year's amazing.

It's like it's almost done in my opinion.

So during Women's History Month, we take time to reflect on the women who came before us.

The trailblazers, the leaders, the caregivers, the quiet change makers whose strength and resilience have helped shape our community and our country.

Not all are quiet in my house.

I have a little four women, and they're not so quiet.

Alright.

But you guys have made a definite impact to our community and to hit to our community here in Rochelle.

Uh, this event, I just want to say it's really dedicated to you, our senior residents whose stories, experiences, and contributions continue to inspire us every day.

We're honored, and I am truly personally honored to celebrate this with you today.
