Good morning.

I'm Catherine White, Executive Director of the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, and we're here today.

A fantastic day, bright and sunny, here to welcome Wingstop to downtown New Rochelle.

We've absolutely thrilled that they are here in the downtown providing lunch, dinner, and late night snacks all day long, seven days a week.

So it's a great addition to our downtown, and we're thrilled to welcome them.

We've got many people who came out to celebrate with us today.

So I'll just shout out a couple of names.

We have Shane O'Sheen Loyer, he's the city council rep for this very district from the Department of Economic Development, because you don't really set up a business without them.

We have the Deputy Commissioner Jorhaven Torah and the small business manager for the city, Mariana Husafi.

Of course, when you're in the downtown, you're thinking about the New Rochelle downtown business business improvement district.

And with us today, we have Ann Gold, the executive director.

And representing the business, of course, we have several people.

So to begin with, we have Spencer Rubin, he's the CEO for Wingstop.

We have Jeremy Tannenmaum, and then we have Ivanka Kay with them as well.

And the general manager who's the face you'll be seeing almost every day when you come to Wingstop.

We have Shaheem Watson with us.

We've got a lot of support today from our partners.

We, of course, we have the New Rochelle Police here, NRPD, keeping us safe.

And we have uh West Have First Source Referral Center for all your employment needs.

If anybody needs workers, contact them.

And then, of course, we got chamber members here with us today.

We've got the Boys and Girls Club.

We've got, yeah, we've got Webster Bank, the Lions Club, Casa Roma Cafe, and the Town Planner.

So love to see everyone supporting a new business because that's really the community of our city.

And with that, I'd like to bring up Shane O'Sheen Loyer to say a few words of welcome.

I was having a typical Monday morning.

I absolutely was exhausted, but I knew one thing would wake me up, and it turned out to be Hickory smoked barbecue wings and parmesan wings.

So I'm very happy this morning to start my day actually with Wingstop.

And I have to also admit that I've been here twice already before the grand opening.

Thank you for this amazing view.

They have like a crazy panoramic view.

My office doesn't even have that.

It's incredible.

Come down to Wingstop 500 Main Street slash 12 Church Street, right by Memorial Plaza, and glad to have you in the heart of our downtown.

Now I'd like to welcome Ann Gold to say a few words.

Good morning and welcome, Wingstop, on behalf of the New Rochelle Business Improvement District.

I have to say that in addition to the delicious food and the brand name recognition you're bringing to the heart of downtown.

What strikes me when I come in here is the welcome.

This crew and this staff that has been hired.

And I am telling you, it's always so uplifting.

And on the reels that we've posted, everybody comments the same thing.

So I want to give a shout out and a clap to the staff.

So it is really special for New Rochelle to have such a brand name recognition right in the heart of downtown.

And I can tell you that our visitors, um, the residents, the people who work here, and the students come in here every day.

I live across the street and I walk by, and I'm happy to say that every day I see the tables full, and I know for a fact, because my office is up at Munro University, that our students make a pilgrimage here every day.

So it looks to me like you are off to a fantastic start.

I hope that everything continues in this direction and know that you have the support of the whole community.

Uh, first off, thank you so much for having us here and showing up in such a big way today.

Uh, it's been an unbelievable project getting this restaurant open uh to the amazing new building that we're in.

And I know how busy the town has been helping, you know, get all these projects open.

But it was a really smooth process.

We had so much support, and we're just absolutely thrilled to be here.

To Shaheem and the entire uh Wingstop Neuro Shell team, thank you guys.

We're absolutely crushing it.
