Hi, I'm Catherine White, Executive Director of the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, and it is a beautiful day for a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

We're here today to celebrate the grand opening of Teryaki Madness.

We're thrilled.

They're here in the downtown New Rochelle in the Stella Building in the Vanguard district, and we're happy to welcome them to New Rochelle.

It's been a long time coming getting Teriaki Madness open, and it's definitely been helped by becoming one of the initial group of recipients of the New Rochelle Tenant Improvement Fund.

The matching grant of 200,000 has gone a long way to bring this to fruition today, and we're thrilled to have so many people here to welcome them.

Speaking of people, let me introduce a few celebrity or VIP people we have from New Rochelle here with us today.

Of course, we begin with Mayor Yadira Ramos Herbert.

We have from Economic Development the Deputy Commissioner Jorge Ventura, the director, Kevin Jimenez, Director of Planning, Kevin Kane.

Of course, at all of our events, we always have Mariana Husifai, she's the small business relations manager for New Rochelle, and nothing happens in business without her assistance.

We're in the downtown, so of course, we have with us Ann Gold, executive director of the New Rochelle Downtown Bid.

Again, nothing happens downtown without Anne and her staff, and we're thrilled to have them here with us today.

From Webster Bank chamber members, we have Joel Francis, we have Aura to Exit Brittany Coleman, and so many other chamber members who've come down.

From Stella, we have Clarissa Conti, the senior community manager, and Wendy Ruez, she's the leasing manager for both Stella and Maple here in New Rochelle.

Again, this would not have been happening with this opening would not have occurred without the assistance of LM Development with Carrie, Joe, and Ryan, and WB Wilder Balter with Jim and his team.

We'd also like to have with us what we also have with us here today First Source Referral Center, Ned Morello and some of his staff.

If anybody needs a job in New Rochelle, First Source Referral Center is where you go to get one.

So please reach out and contact them whenever you need anything.

And of course, at all our events, we always have support from NRPD.

You see many officers here today, and you see them all the time in the downtown, willing to help out businesses and residents just to keep our city moving and just working forward in the best way possible.

We're thrilled to always have their support.

But we really wouldn't be here today without the the managing team and owners of Teriaki Madness.

So again, we're thrilled to have Tony Santorelli, he's the operating partner, and then Christille Hamilton, she's the general manager.

So that's a lot of people.

And I'm thrilled that everyone's here to support.

And if I haven't mentioned you, I'm really I apologize for that, but we always appreciate everyone supporting New Rochelle and our downtown businesses.

Now I'd like to bring up Mayor Yadira Ramos Herbert to say a few words.

So when I pulled up to Park and like looked here and looked across the street at Raisin Banadas, another tenant improvement grant recipient.

We have a church and some uh residences coming up here.

Stella Face 2 will be launching.

As mayor, I was like, it's happening.

Like it's happening.

And the addition of teriyaki madness, I will say, as a mom of two who is always looking for something tasty and quick to eat for my family because I don't like to cook and my kids have very varied palates.

Immediately I said this will be a family favorite for all of us because we're all going to be able to find something.

I actually said I'm like jealous of the residents who can just come downstairs and have Cafe Haven and or teriaki madness for lunch or dinner and other options here just within like half a block of their front door.

So I'm just really excited to be here.

Um any time I see entrepreneurs choose New Rochelle, I will say thank you because you can be anywhere else.

And to be an entrepreneur takes a lot of grit and resilience, a lot of long days, a lot of wait, another form, another inspection, and you stuck with it, and we're going to be able to benefit for your resiliency and thoughtfulness.

So thank you for choosing New Rochelle, honestly.

Um thank you for giving me my family a new favorite place to eat, lunch and dinner, um, and good luck in whatever we can do to support you, we will.

Good morning, and I'm delighted to be here to welcome Teriaki Madness to downtown New Rochelle.

We're delighted to welcome you.

I think it's such a fun concept that a West Coast based concept has found its way to New Rochelle on the East Coast.

It's just another evidence that New Rochelle is just brimming with innovation and diversity of food and all kinds of just really great great things.

They've been signing up for the app to get a free bowl, and then they quickly have accumulated points and have already made second and third trips.

So best of luck to you.

Hello everybody.

Thank you for joining us this uh beautiful Friday morning.

Um my team and I are super super excited to be here in New Rochelle.

It's been a long time coming, but uh everything in life that's worth waiting for is uh always ends up being uh uh amazing.

Um I'd like to thank uh the mayor um uh for the city of uh New Rochelle.

Um I'd like to thank the tenant uh improvement fund.

I mean without without uh the fund we probably wouldn't be here.

Uh was able to secure our beautiful space here in the Stella.

Uh when you go inside, we have a beautiful dining room, our kitchen is top notch, and uh with the help of the tenant improvement fund, we were able to do that.

Um uh also uh like to you know welcome uh thank the economic development uh development department um and um the downtown bid and of course the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and LM and WP, uh the owners of the building.

Uh I've opened a bunch of restaurants in my lifetime, and I can tell you uh I have yet to find a community that's more uh welcoming of tenants and um uh that also not only wants to be here for our opening but wants uh to see the us to succeed and be part of this community.

Um we really saw an opportunity to come to New Rochelle and uh the uh amazing building that's going on here and the transformation of the city and bring um made to order fast uh fast Asian fast fusion food to you.

Nutritious delicious, most of our menus gluten-free.

Uh once you try our food, you will uh find out why that we call it highly addictive.

It's uh it's really delicious food.

And um I I can't I can't thank everybody enough.

There's you know the the first responders of New Rochelle.

You know, I I have to give a shout out to the teachers of the community, it's uh teacher appreciation week, so let's uh thank all the teachers.

You know, obviously educating uh the our next generations and uh we're thrilled to be here.

Any way that we can be part of the community, whether it's fundraisers or or any part, any way to be part of the community is is why we're here.

Uh we we believe that giving back to the community is just as important as doing business here in the community.

So uh from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of you that made this possible, and uh we love New Rochelle and we get we look forward to many many years of success here.

Hello everyone, um, happy Friday.

Um first of all, I just want to thank everybody.

It's way too many people for me to even begin.

Um I want to thank the community in general for having us.

Um the mayor, thank you.

Um everybody here plays a vital role, um, a key part to um supporting us, and I can't pick one um over the other.

So thank you.

In general, um I just want to say um I never thought, you know, this was such a challenge.

It was such a challenge is to see it all come together and see everybody come out together to see the support.

Um I so many people come up and more people I could I should say know me than I know them.

So I can't even pick people out.

Um, but we want to just keep supporting the community.

Um we want to keep providing great customer service, um providing um fresh made to order meals because I know we definitely have something that nobody has over here, and we want to keep um bringing back great customer service because you don't get it anymore.

So we want to keep having that um different vibe, different element.

Anybody that comes into our location, you could definitely feel something different.

I want to keep creating a home environment.

I want everyone to feel welcome and feel like they are home.

So continue to visit us.
