I'm Catherine White, Executive Director of the Neurochelle Chamber of Commerce, and we are thrilled to be here today in the Home Depot parking lot to welcome one of our newest and New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce members, Rocco's Italian sausages and cheesesteaks.

It's a big name for a big sandwich.

And we are thrilled to be here today.

We've got so many people who've come out, people who are enjoying the food.

We've got a couple people they'd like to introduce who are here to support.

Starting with, of course, Mayor Yadira Ramos Herbert.

We have Westchester County legislator Terry Clements.

Her aide Cameron Stanford is here.

From Home Depot, we have Benjamin Offen and the manager, Voshti.

Of course, we have New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce members supporting the event.

We have Jim Calorin from the Fuller Center of Housing.

And Ned Morello is here from First Source Referral Center.

The reason we're all here, business owners, Rob and Chrissy Maltese.

So to begin, I'd like to call up the mayor for a few words of welcome.

First, I want to thank the Maltese family for choosing New Rochelle and for sticking through this process.

I know it's not easy.

Second career, third career maybe.

And I know it's a family affair.

And I know that there's not, you know, your tag teaming effort and you have your boy here helping, and you have three other boys who I know are here in spirit and proud of their mom and their dad.

Um thank you again, just really thank you for choosing New Rochelle and hearing you talk about why the Home Depot, the what you're gonna offer to the different contractors that come here, really any guest of Home Depot can easily be a guest of yours, is a benefit for us in New Rochelle, seeing that it's a family business, seeing the pride, seeing your son, the first person I see for your business is your future, your son seeing your wife working that counter, getting the order, the ketchup and everything.

I mean it really is it's a you're a beautiful family, and you're bringing a really wonderful establishment to us.

So thank you for choosing us.

I would like to also thank the Maltese family on behalf of the Westchester County Board of Legislators and the County Executive's office.

It is a wonderful thing that you are here in this parking lot.

Guess what?

I can go come and get lunch and I can find parking.

This is the best thing ever.

Okay.

And so as people come here to shop, people come here to work, you're here for them, and I want to thank you for selecting this location.

And now we'd like to bring up Al Tarantino to say a few words, welcoming Rocco's to his district.

First, I want to thank Rocco's family here for picking Neurochelle as a location uh for their business.

Uh talking with the owners, I found that we have uh he has family that I grew up with in New Rochelle, so he's really a neuroshalian.

So we can't welcome to New Rochelle.

We're welcome back to New Rochelle.

Um of the things that I I love about this is that I'm here four times a week minimum and I miss having my hot dog and now I can have a Philly cheese or sausage and peppers.

Um but more importantly, you know, he has a business that can do something that a lot of businesses can't.

He has plenty of parking.

So if somebody wanted to come here that wasn't going in home depot, wanted to come here and get something to eat, they can pull in the home Peniupo parking.

Lots park their car and sit in under the uh covered tables over here and and and have a feast.

Um, you know, and also in talking with him, I and I'm doing a little promo here for you.

Uh they do catering, so you can also come here for your catering.

Remember, you can drive right to the front, pick up your catering and go.
