The North Las Vegas City Council welcomes you to its meeting. There are two public forums set aside for public comments at this meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end. If you wish to speak, please complete one of the blue cards, which are located on the table outside the main entrance and at the podium rail. Please give your card to the city clerk. When called upon to speak, we request that you limit your comments to no more than two minutes and that you avoid repetition. Madam City Clerk, are we in compliance with the Nevada Open Meeting Law? Yes, Mayor, we are. Thank you. Today we have the opportunity to have the invocation given by Mayor Potem Scott Black. Following that will be the Pledge of Allegiance by Councilman Churchill. Our Father in Heaven, at this time, we humbly pause at the beginning of the city council meeting to express deep gratitude for our many blessings. We're grateful for community. We're grateful for peace. We're grateful for our law enforcement and first responders that come to our aid at a moment's notice without worry of their own danger. We pray at this time that that will watch over our community and those that live within it, that families will be united, that children will have the opportunity to grow and develop and meet their goals and dreams. We're grateful for the city council and the privilege that we have to lead, and I pray, Heavenly Father, that thou would guide us to lead with wisdom and humility as we strive to lift the lives and benefit the lives of those that we serve. Grateful to have these many wonderful people in our presence today for our meeting, especially. Amen. Please remain standing for the pledge. Oh my gosh, this is so sweet. If you don't know, I I took another trip around the sun on Sunday, so I'm a year older. I woke up Sunday morning. Everything worked and nothing hurt, so I am good. Oh, this is beautiful. Thank you so much. Oh. I'm gonna be a big girl. Oh, this is so beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Oh wow. Okay, now, as I was saying, we have three presentations this afternoon. The proclamation for the National Community Planning Month, a proclamation for the hundred black men of Las Vegas, and a certificate of recognition for Juan Estratus. So, council, let's go down front. Oh, can I say something? And also on Sunday, I got to spend the day at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and I got to go around the track in a pace car. They were only supposed to go a hundred, but they went a little faster than a hundred. And the driver kept saying, look out to the right, because you can see how close we have to be to that wall. I'm like, because I'm thinking if that car touches that wall, all I had on was a seatbelt, we'd have been lights out. So but I it was exhilarating and it was so much fun. All right. Okay, let's focus. I'm not telling my secrets.
