The North Las Vegas City Council met on November 19, 2025, for a regular meeting that included the swearing-in of a municipal court judge, council member reports on community events, approval of the consent agenda, public hearings on amendments to police collective bargaining agreements, presentation of the annual audit report, and two public comment periods.
The North Las Vegas welcomes you to its city council meeting. There are two public forums aside for public comment at this meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end. If you wish to speak, please complete one of the blue cards, which are located on the table outside the main entrance and at the podium rail. Please give your card to the city clerk when called upon to speak. We request that you limit your comments to no more than two minutes and that you avoid repetition. Today we will have the opportunity to have the invocation given by Mayor Pro Tem Scott Black and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilwoman Garcia Anderson. Please rise. Our Father in Heaven, at the beginning of the City Council meeting, we pause and bow our heads and give thee thanks for the many blessings that we have in our in our lives and our families in our community. We're grateful for the opportunity that we have to serve our community as council members and pray for guidance and direction to be upon the mayor and each council member that we may make decisions in wisdom and in humility that the decisions that we make will bless the lives of those that we serve. We pray for our police officers, firefighters, and those that put themselves in harm's way to keep our community safe. We're grateful for armed forces for our veterans for those that serve and have served to protect our freedoms and liberties. We pray at this time as the holidays are upon us that there will be an added measure of compassion and generosity in our community and a sense of peace that we can find ways to lift and help and serve those that are in need.
