There are four public comments set aside for public comment, one at the beginning and the end of the redevelopment agency meeting, and one at the beginning and the end of the city council meeting.

If you wish to speak, please complete one of the blue cards, which are located on the table outside the main entrance and right here at the podium rail.

And when I call on you to speak, I request that you limit your comments to no more than two minutes and that you avoid repetition.

And then following that will be the Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Pro Tim Scott Black.

Almighty God, we come before you today with grateful hearts, acknowledging the progress and growth of the city of North Las Vegas.

We thank you for the dedication and hard work of our city officials, including the mayor and council members who have worked tirelessly to create a safe and thriving community.

As we approach the holiday of Hanukkah, we are reminded of the timeless story of the Maccabees, who with courage and faith overcame seemingly insurmountable obstacles to reclaim their place of worship and preserve their way of life.

Just as a small spark of light can illuminate a dark room, may the light of hope, justice, and compassion continue to guide our leaders in our community.

May the spirit of Hanukkah inspire us to be agents of positive change to stand strong in the face of adversity and to shine our light in the darkness.

May our leaders be endowed with the wisdom, courage, and resilience of the Maccabees as they strive to build a brighter future for all residents of North Las Vegas.

We recognize the challenges that have been overcome and we celebrate the strides made in improving safety, infrastructure, and quality of life for all residents.

As a city continue to grow and evolve, we ask that you grant our leaders wisdom, guidance, and strength.

May they continue to make decisions that promote unity, prosperity, and justice for all citizens.

May they be blessed with the insight to address the needs of our community and the compassion to serve with humility and kindness.

We also ask for your blessings on the residents of North Las Vegas that we may live in peace, harmony, and prosperity.

May we continue to build a community that is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive of one another.

We pray that you will continue to watch over and protect our city, and that we always acknowledge your presence and guidance in our lives, and let us all say Amen.

Um, you just want to share a little bit about um the Shabbat of Aliante for us, real quick.

Yes, thank you so much for the opportunity.

You know, faith.

We we promote peace and most importantly, um, just understand that Chabad is a global organization, but having you know a Chabad here in North Las Vegas, we make sure that you know the Jewish community in North Las Vegas is taken care of in any way that we can to help the broader community in North Las Vegas.

That's what we're here for.

So thank God that we are here for four years.

First three years, you know, we're small and thank God now we're building, we have a consistent service every Saturday morning, and we have a beautiful Hanukkah celebration taking place on the 17th of December at 5:30 at the Lux Salon on Simon Street.

Everybody's invited.
