Well, welcome everyone.

This is a really really exciting time to be talking about the future of North Las Vegas.

As some of you may know, the current comprehensive master plan was adopted in 2006 when the city was home to 200,000 residents.

That plan was focused on growth as approximately 60% of the city was undeveloped at that time.

Today, the city's population has grown to 300,000.

Now we all know that there was some intervening events in that time period, namely the Great Recession, which impacted the development of our city.

And fortunately, we have uh survived and thrived and flourished and grown into the amazing city that we are today.
