Speaker 4

3:58

Good evening, uh, board.

4:00

Um this evening is the presentation for the revised budget for FY25 for the Parks and Recreation Facility Development Corporation.

4:08

Um the revised revenue for FY twenty-four twenty-five

Unassigned speaker

4:12

is

Speaker 4

4:13

thirteen million nine hundred and fifty-five thousand two hundred and twenty-one.

4:16

That is a slight reduction point zero zero one zero zero one percent.

4:21

Um so no real significant changes to the uh revised budget for this year.

4:27

A few revenue highlights that I will uh reference are the the increase of fifty thousand dollars or nine point two percent increase in the Richland tennis center revenue.

4:35

That's primarily from program lesson revenue based on year-to-date actuals and the remaining fiscal year months.

4:41

77,000 dollar increase in rent of revenue, which is about one point one percent increase in sales tax based on year-to-date actual collections.

4:49

And thirty-four thousand or seven point one percent increase in interact center revenues based on year to date actual collections identified in fitness services.

5:01

The decrease of 114 that is essentially we planned on adopting that credit card service fee for the consumer and that's going to be looked at more in fiscal 26 so you'll see that in the proposed budget as we move forward.

5:19

For the revised expenditures again very slight increases for the tennis center operations and the inter center operations those increases are offset by the revenue salary savings for some vacancies that we have had in park operations and maintenance and then an increase over time about $3800 that has helped offset some of that that vacancy time frame but we're looking to hopefully hire soon so uh we're looking at a couple of positions that should be filled before the end of the fiscal year.

5:53

So the revised budget for fiscal 2425 is presented with an ending balance of zero and I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Unassigned speaker

6:01

Do

Speaker 1

6:01

we have any questions of staff

Speaker 5

6:03

got one on page one of one of the the last part you mentioned expenditures for senior citizen centers.

6:16

Does that include denacles center being updated or something being done with it after the road

Speaker 4

6:23

this one doesn't have any um senior center operations or anything from the for the park fundament

Speaker 5

6:31

but it's listed in here it's an expenditure

Speaker 4

6:36

I may not be looking at what you're looking at

Speaker 6

6:42

it's it's on the notice of public hearing I think is um is what we're referring to and and I think that's a list of potential projects so it may not be that every one of those is represented in the budget but they are uh potential projects that the uh the that the corporation could potentially pursue

Unassigned speaker

7:04

going

Speaker 5

7:04

by project sorry I'm not looking at this it's

Speaker 1

7:06

okay it's a second attachment that's that's in the or the third memorandum that's right a then this is attachment B.

Speaker 5

7:13

Okay.

7:14

So my question is are we going to spend money if we're not that's fine I just it's just listed I didn't

Unassigned speaker

7:20

know

Speaker 4

7:21

not that I have this evening

Speaker 2

7:23

right and so the state law requires for this um this this half cent sales tax fund that when we have a public hearing that we list any potential projects that you could spend money on and so the notice that you're referring to lists that as a potential project but no the but this this budget does not include expenditures for senior center activities or anything
