And start the webinar. And great. So welcome everyone to another special meeting of the Oakland Public Ethics Commission. And I will start by taking the roll. Vice Chair Hill. Present. And I apologize for the delay. I joined multiple meeting invites until finally I found the right one. Well, it worked. You found us. Commissioner Upton. You're on mute. I'm here. Commissioner Pertit. Here. Commissioner Steele. Present. And Commissioner Gage. Oh, here she is. Commissioner Gage. Are you present? We're just doing roll. I think she's just Commissioner Gage is present. I am present. Thank you. And we have our current full complement of commissioners. And we have a quorum and we'll start the meeting. As a reminder to those in attendance, the public ethics commission works to ensure compliance with the city's laws that aim to promote fairness, openness, honesty, and integrity in city government. And we are main item on the agenda tonight is closed session to discuss and conduct interviews for the vacant executive director position. We'll go to item number two, staff and commission announcements. Are there any staff announcements? Are there any commissioner announcements? No staff announcements. Okay. Hearing nothing, uh we will move to item number three, which is open forum. Open forum is a time for a member of the public to comment on any matter within the jurisdiction of the PEC that is not otherwise included in tonight's agenda. Under the Sunshine Ordinance, the Commission cannot discuss the substance of any public comment made that does not pertain to an item listed on the agenda. The commission urges members of the public not to make complaints or ask the commission to investigate alleged legal violations at public meetings, since the public disclosure of such complaints or requests may undermine any subsequent investigation undertaken. So if you would like to file an ethics complaint or would like assistance filing a complaint, we ask that you contact staff via email at ethicscommission at Oaklandca.gov rather than doing it right now in public comment. Is there any public comment? It looks like there is no raised hands. Okay, great. So is there any? Well, I don't have to ask for commissioner comments since this is open forum. So we'll move on to our action item, which is item number four, virtual meetings of the public ethics commission. The commission will review and take action to adopt resolution 2302, establishing certain determinations to justify the need for virtual meeting following the legislature's adoption and governor's approval of AB 361 in September 2021. Is there any commissioner comment on the resolution? Is there any public comment before the commission takes a vote on this item?
