Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome. I'll go ahead and call this meeting to order on August 11th, 2026, and ask the city clerk to please call roll. Commissioner Henderson. Present. Commissioner Smith. Here. Commissioner Thomas. Present. Commissioner Wilson. Present. Mayor Bray. Present. I'd ask Commissioner Thomas to do the invocation, and then we'll remain standing for the Pledge of Allegiance. Give us a mind to follow your path for us and to make the best decisions for all that reside here. We thank you for your grace, and we pray in your son Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. I pledge allegiance to the life of the United States of America. Which is one nation. Indivisible with liberty and justice for all of them. City Manager, are there any additions or deletions to the agenda? Mayor, none this evening. Okay, we have one new employee introduction. Um, and I would ask Kathy Bryant Quimby Quimby uh to come up and introduce uh Leanne Armstrong. Evening. Good evening, Mayor. Oh, and we know I'm gonna pull this down. Uh good evening, Mayor, City Manager, and Commission and guests. Thank you all for being here tonight. Um today I have the privilege of welcoming our newest member to our customer experience department. The customer experience department plays a key role in City Hall. Um, they welcome our community every day, whether uh by a person as they come in City Hall, by phone, by email, they assist with the needs of our community, the questions they have. Um they're a key point to getting uh people to uh the different team members they need to be. If it's how do I connect somebody to uh trash service or um I need a phone number just in the community, I just don't have these resources. This role is a key key role to City Hall, and it's one that um greatly needed filled. We had a wonderful lady, uh Miss Donna Jackson, which I needed to mention her. Uh, she was a dear, dear, uh sweet person that we love for so long. She was here for over 30 years, and I'm sorry, that just amazes me because we've moved around a lot, so sticking somewhere for over 30 years is is a big thing, and she did a wonderful job, and she meant so much to our our team and our community, and she did a fantastic job. So, this is big shoes to fill. Don't get nervous. Um, but Leanne, this is Leanne Armstrong. She is a lifelong Paducah native. She grew up in Farley. Um she is a graduate graduate of Readland High School and Paducah Community College. She brings a wealth of customer experience, uh, relationship building and key ingredients necessary for this role. Um, outside of work, she is married to James Armstrong. She has two kids, Jay um Dalton and Annie. You would think I know that. I've known her a while. Um, two bonus kids, AJ and Aaron, and is blessed with a daughter-in-law, Mariah, but her most favorite title of all is as Lolly to her granddaughter Aspen.
