Parker County Commissioners Court Regular Meeting – April 13, 2026

The Parker County Commissioners Court convened on April 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the courthouse in Weatherford, Texas. All commissioners and the County Judge were present. The meeting included consent agenda approval, multiple presentations, public hearings, and an executive session from 9:23 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. The court took action on over 40 items, including road projects, technology upgrades, land use, and litigation settlements. Consent Calendar

• Auditor Items: Certification of revenues, line item budget adjustments, payment of routine bills (including underpayment clarification for TCQ Enforcement Settlement No. 68101 from the March 9 Executive Session, now funded from 409 Litigation), and audit reports were all submitted and approved.
• Treasurer Items: Report on balances of all funds, accept/release pledged securities, and approval of payroll, insurance, and retirement payments were submitted and approved. The Monthly Investment Report was not submitted.

Salvage/destruction of five bulletproof vests (three from Constable 3, two from Sheriff’s Office) was authorized. Surplus auction of equipment for Pct. 3 through Ritchie Brothers (including a 1999 Hydroscopic Badger Dig, dump beds, and a water tank) was approved.
• Items Accepted into Minutes (submitted): FLOCK Safety contract, Speed limit orders (Johnson Bend Road, Oak Tree Drive, Oak Tree Court, Advance Road, Old Mineral Wells Highway), Oxen Acres Plat cancellation, Special Waste Disposal Agreement, Resolution for online tax foreclosure auctions, and City of Weatherford annexation order. Not submitted: IT Department Quarterly Report, ESD No. 1 Annual Financial Report, and two automatic bank draft authorizations (Wayne Hodges Trailer Sales and Tractor Supply Company).

• 41st Annual Parker County Peach Festival (July 11, 2026): The Weatherford Chamber of Commerce (Gloria Martinez) requested use of four county lots at Dallas/Spring and Waco/Spring at no charge. The court approved, including the County Attorney Building.
