Parker County Commissioners Court Regular Meeting – May 26, 2026

The Parker County Commissioners Court convened in regular session on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Commissioners Courtroom at the Parker County Courthouse, Weatherford, Texas. • Water study and Public Utility Authority: Freese and Nichols’ Jessica Brown and Commissioner Walden presented an update on the Parker County Water Study and PUA implementation; no action was taken.
• Regional Transportation Council Meeting: Judge Deen gave an update. Agenda item 7N, a Letter of Support for Michael Morris, was discussed at the same time; the recorded motion approved item 6C, and no separate vote on the letter is recorded in the minutes.

• Original Town of Peaster (Precinct 2): Groundwater Study waiver approved for the 2.256-acre, 4-lot revision. A separate public hearing opened and closed at 12:21 p.m. and approved the final revision for 2.256 acres with 4 lots off Lee Street, by Ted Bruton, with Parker County ESD #1 and well water.
• Buchanan Acres (Precinct 2): Public hearing opened and closed at 12:23 p.m.; order OR26-22 approving the cancellation process for the 2.500-acre subdivision developed by Lisa Nichols was approved.
• B&K Business Center Tract 4 (Precinct 2): Public hearing opened and closed at 12:24 p.m.; the minutes do not record a motion or vote on order OR26-23 for the 15.968-acre cancellation.
