Parker County Commissioners Court Regular Session - August 24, 2026

The Parker County Commissioners Court convened in regular session on August 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the commissioner's courtroom at the Parker County Courthouse in Weatherford, Texas. All members were present: County Judge Pat Deen, Commissioners Conley (PCT 1), Holt (PCT 2), Walden (PCT 3), and Hale (PCT 4), along with County Attorney John Forrest and Deputy County Clerk Jane Wilsky. The meeting included the invocation by Greg Downes and the pledges led by Judge Pro Tem George Conley. The court approved numerous consent items, discussed transportation projects, approved election-related items, and conducted a public hearing on a subdivision revision. An executive session was held from 10:12 a.m. to 11:31 a.m. regarding legal matters, property acquisitions, and county facility updates. The meeting adjourned at 11:47 a.m.

• Auditor Items: Certification of revenues, line item budget adjustments, payment of routine bills, and audit reports were all submitted and approved. Auditor Brianna Fowler addressed the court regarding item 4.A.2.
• Treasurer Items: Report on fund balances (1–999), approval of payroll/insurance/retirement, and monthly investment report were submitted and approved. Acceptance or release of pledged securities was not submitted.
• County Judge Items: Monthly reports and personnel changes were submitted; acceptance of minutes was not submitted. The entire consent calendar was approved by motion (Walden/Hale).

  • Approved donation of chicken captured by Animal Control to the Weatherford Animal Shelter for adoption (Chief Mark Arnett).
