Um so it in honor of uh June being Pride Month, uh, I'm gonna read a proclamation recognizing June as Pride Month 2026.

Whereas the City of Park Ridge is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful community where all residents are valued and treated with dignity, whereas the city of Park Ridge believes in fairness and equality and values our diverse population of residents, businesses, and their guests, recognizing that in such diversity lies one of our community's greatest strengths.

And whereas we recognize that in order to build upon this diversity and maximize the potential for benefit to our community, it is essential that equality of opportunity and the absence of discrimination be at the core of all of the city's policies, procedures, and efforts.
