The Historic & Landmarks Preservation Board met on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber. The board addressed two items: approval of prior meeting minutes and a procedural vote to consent to the Planning Commission serving as lead agency for environmental review of 1019 Park Street.
Approve the minutes of September 25's meeting last month. Did anybody have any questions or concern about the minutes? So motion to approve as written then. Okay, all seconded. And then all in favor. Okay. So the first evening tonight is a procedural. The first agenda item is a procedural vote for 1019 Park Street to Planning Commission to take environmental lead, if I'm saying that correctly, and we'll pass this over to Sam to give us the details. So the Planning Commission for 1019 Park Street has sent a notice of intent um to be lead agency for 1019 Park Street for the environmental review pursuant to CECRA. And they have asked the historic board to consent to their lead agency. And then the board will revisit um their conclusions in next month's or subsequent meeting. So it is the recommendation of the planning department that the board this board this evening approve. Yeah, it is a recommendation that the historic board consent to this. Um the planning commission is well suited to handle these kinds of reviews and typically does for all reviews that they are uh party to. Okay. Does anybody have any questions about this procedurally? No. So motion to vote as indicated to approve planning to to take the lead. Make a motion. Second. All in favor? Aye. Aye. So passed. Thank you. You're welcome.
