This was a committee-of-the-whole work session called to order at 6:45 p.m. The council immediately tabled liaison reports and moved to enter executive session to discuss personnel matters (medical, financial, credit, or employment history of a particular person or corporation, and matters relating to appointment or removal). The State of the City address was scheduled to follow at the 7:00 p.m. Common Council meeting. The two resolutions on the agenda (setting a public hearing for a senior citizen real estate tax exemption and amending the term for a part-time assistant judge) were assigned to council members but not debated or voted on.
Welcome to our committee of the whole meeting for today, April 13th, 2026. We do not have an agenda at this time. I'm going to ask our liaison reports and concerns and issues be tabled until next week. And then ask for a motion to go into executive session for discussion of matters concerning the medical, financial, credit, or employment history of a particular person, persons, or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal, or removal of a particular person, persons, or corporation.
