I got it. Gina, we ready. Thank you for being patient. We've had a long night this evening and uh we're getting through things as quickly as possible. I will call this city council meeting to order. We will have the invocation from Mayor Wash, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance from Councilman Harris. Please pray with me. Lord, thank you for this day and thank you for our time together. Please watch over, lead guide, and direct us as we conduct the city's business and help us to make the right choices. Please watch over the city of Pelham in your name. Amen. Thank you, Mayor and Councilman. Mr. City Clerk, please make a record of attendance. So no to Mr. President, you do have a quorum, sir. Thank you, sir. First item on the agenda for us to consider is the consent agenda that consists of the approval of the November second, twenty twenty-six City Council meeting agenda, approval of the October nineteenth twenty twenty-six regular council meeting minutes. Resolution twenty twenty-six eleven zero two zero one through. Motion to approve. Yes. Council Member Towns. Yes. Customer Snowden. Yes. Council Murray. Consent agenda passes unanimously. That leads us into the mayor's reporter comments. Uh yeah, I just wanted to uh bring everyone's attention that we lost Mayor Bobby Hayes last Saturday. Uh we uh we had the funeral service yesterday and Mayor Hayes was the mayor here in Pellum from nineteen eighty-four until two thousand and eight. So that was twenty-four years of service as the mayor of Pellham. He was he's the longest residing mayor that the city has ever had. And uh during that time, really all the amenities and all the things that we uh take for granted and that we all enjoy here, uh all attributed to uh to Mayor Hayes and the legacy that he left behind. So uh so I just wanted to bring that to everyone's attention tonight. Pellem is what it is today because of the vision that Mayor Hayes had and uh to the ones of us that had the privilege of working alongside Mayor Hayes. Uh it was an honor and a privilege. Thank you. Thank you, Mayor. That leads us into the report by the city manager. Good evening, counselors. Um, I've got several updates from around the um around the city that I'm gonna work through here. It's been a real fun uh couple of weeks here, and I just wanted to highlight uh some of these things that uh that have gone on here around the city. And I think the first thing and one of the most fun things was trick-or-treating uh Friday at Pelham City Hall with the pre-K students from Pelham City Schools. Stacey Courier uh headed up the organization on that, but then we had the water department HR and IT building, they participated, um, as well as the offices in City Hall, the police and court building, uh fire parks and Pelham Rocket Club all participated in that, and everybody just went all out, and it was so much fun.
