The Providence City Council convened on February 5, 2026, to formally recognize the West End Intruders youth team for their athletic accomplishments and representation of the city at the national level. Team members were welcomed into the chamber and praised for their dedication.

Very special group of guests. Please uh join me in a round of applause for the West End Intruder. And intruders, please come join us here in the chamber. Okay. So again, once uh again, welcome. Just wanted to uh as they're walking in, just wanted to uh shout out to the entire team. I have Terry Campbell, Jaden Davis, Javan Romero, Denzel Richardson, Kobe Ford, Stacy Mitchell, Lorenzo Ventura, Sam Coller, Jamal Godson, Devon uh Devonite, Daniel, Devante. All right. Ryan Saint Fleur, Demari Calhoun. Lawrence Hayes, Kelvin Doiday. Did I say that right? Spruhill, uh, Jameer, Jamal Stevens, Matt Washington, Melissa Stevens, uh, Andre Isom. Where's Andre? Where's the where's that right? Right there. Uh, Richie Davis and uh Vangeline Noonang? No. So that's the entire team. Congratulations. Welcome to the Province City Council. West ending in the house. The intruders has a long tradition in our neighborhoods and in our community. Thank you. And uh once again, congratulations. And just so you know, we are proud of you every single day, whether we invite you in City Hall or not. But I really want to thank Andre for uh calling attention to the fact that y'all were going to Nationals and reaching out for support. So we know uh you represent Providence with pride and you do that every day. I'm gonna give the citations to Andre to give out to everyone later. And we'd love to take some pictures and celebrate with you. Yeah, I just wanna say for my team, the intruders. You stay intruding. And uh you really gotta keep Jrive no matter how far you go in life. You intrude until you give it to what you want. Everything in life. Whatever you want, you can get it. Listen, the season before, you know what the record was. But what was the record this one? We did a complete opposite. So it's everything's on you guys. Whatever you want, sky's the limit. You can get it no matter what. You gotta believe in yourself. Let's get in together in a picture.
