One candidate, currently employed at Kitsap County Jail, was interviewed on December 8, 2025, and passed an assessment panel. The blended eligibility list in order of score included: 1. Christian Hansen, 2. Jennifer Roth, 3. Kristen Kramer, 4. Lisandro Castro, 5. Katrina Saunders. The commission approved the list 5-0.
- Approval of a Blended Advanced Entry Police Officer Eligibility List: Chief Examiner Ortega presented the list. One candidate from Juneau, Alaska Police Department was interviewed that month, passed the process, and was added in order of score to the blended list: 1. Brandy Ramseyer, 2. Axel McCrum, 3. Jonathan Crandall, 4. Carolina Marin Melgar, 5. Omar Rivas Cortez. The commission approved the list 5-0, noting a typographical correction (candidate name from “Alex” to “Axel”).
- Chief Examiner’s Report: Chief Examiner Ortega reported that two police candidates (one advanced entry and one entry-level) and one entry-level corrections candidate are currently in background checks. She also announced that entry-level candidate Israel Lopez is scheduled to start in January, marking a successful hire.

And a second. Second. Okay. I notice any discussion on the agenda. If I may add one item. I noted that our January meeting is currently scheduled for Martin Luther King Day. And so that might be a meeting date that we should change. Looks like we're okay. And then for February, we also have President's Day is the same day as our meeting is scheduled. So we might want to move at least January's, if not February's as well today. If everyone needs to consult calendars, I can do so via email as well. Okay. And I noticed on one of the approval lists that the stars were not consistent with the little, there's just a little typo on that. We can deal with that when we get to it. Oh, I see. Okay. Okay.
