The Redwood City Council held a special meeting on August 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM in Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. The meeting was convened primarily to enter closed session to discuss labor negotiations and real property negotiations. Council Member Aguirre participated remotely from 867 Edgewood Road. The meeting was adjourned to closed session after recusals were noted, with no reportable actions anticipated.

Present. Regarding closed session item 52A, which is pertaining to 1900 Broadway real property negotiations. Thank you, Councilmember Aiken. I will also be recusing myself from the same item, 1900 Broadway. Uh one of my nonprofit boards I serve on, Casa Cicil Catural is in that building, uh storing uh materials as well as doing some programming. So in abundance of caution, I will be recusing myself from the item. Are there any other recusals? If not, the council will adjourn to closed session and our next meeting will be Monday, August 26th. I'm trying to get the days right. It's hard to and I do not anticipate any reportable actions out of closed session this evening. So everyone have a good evening.
