Riverton Planning Commission Meeting – September 25, 2025
The Riverton City Planning Commission met on September 25, 2025, to consider several land use applications. Key items included a subdivision continuation, a lot line adjustment approval, a rezoning recommendation for a commercial property, a text amendment for auto dealerships in the C-G zone, and updates to landscaping standards. The commission voted on each item, with a unanimous recommendation to deny the auto dealership text amendment.
Public Hearings
- Willard's Farm Subdivision (PLZ-25-1006): The applicant requested a continuance to finalize plans; the commission unanimously continued the item to the next meeting.
- River Haven Amended Subdivision (PLZ-25-1007): A lot line adjustment to correct a long-standing fence discrepancy. The commission unanimously approved the adjustment with conditions including final plat recordation.
- Walker Property Rezone (PLZ-25-4006): An application to rezone 1.16 acres from C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) to C-G (Gateway Commercial) for a potential auto dealership. The commission recommended approval, citing consistency with the General Plan and surrounding uses.
- Table of Commercial Uses/C-G Zone (PLZ-25-5008): A proposal to allow auto dealerships as a conditional use in the C-G zone. Staff noted the amendment would apply citywide.
