Meeting Transcript
All right, council. Let's uh council. Let me uh encourage y'all to take your seats on the dais. Let's call our all right. For the public's benefit, we have a board of canvassors meeting. We need to um we need to finish or finalize here before our city council meeting, so we'll have that quickly. There's one quick vote, then we'll we'll close that out. We'll move into our city council meeting right after that. So I'd like to call our board of canvassers meeting to order. We have all elected officials here present. Um elected officials, you've been given the official election results from the Salt Lake County Clerk's office by our city recorder, Jamie. Uh Jamie, if you have anything you would like to add at this point, if not, uh we'll entertain uh a motion to approve item two B or um any further comments or discussion. Jamie, anything at all? No. All right, Councilmember Perucci. Yeah, um I decided just a moment just to say that both Councilmember Heyman and I participated in the uh post-election audit, which was a fascinating process. And if I highly encourage anybody that would be interested in experiencing that to go do it. They have volunteers. I sat there with two volunteers, one that's been doing it for a decade with Saltley County, and another's been doing it for five years, and the staff and I was very impressed with the audit review process. And so I'm happy to make a motion to approve item two B. McDougall second. Is that motion sufficient? Right? Yes, okay. Add motion to approve item two B, seconded by council member McDougal. Any discussion to that motion? None, Jamie. Roll call vote. Okay, board member McDougal. Yes. Perucci? Yes. Baroker? Yes. Heymans. Yes. McKay. Yes. All right, thank you. Motion carries. If there's nothing further, we'll look for a motion to adjourn. The board of canvassers meeting. Move that we adjourn. McDougall second. All in favor? Aye. Any opposed. All right. Now let's go into our city council meeting. I'll look to Jamie if we're whenever we're good with the recording.
