0:19

We have the board and commission appointments and reappointments.

0:25

Then we have a few items on the consents agenda, including a grant agreement for Avery Road.

0:33

Um below grade resources.

0:36

We have the Croydon Creek, Calvin Park Tributary Stream Restoration Project.

0:41

That's actually a really cool project.

0:42

Wait a little while on that one.

0:44

And we have approval of the minutes.

0:46

Any questions from anybody on consent?

0:52

Okay.

0:53

On action items, we have the TOD designation for the Rockville Metro station.

1:00

That's cool.

1:02

Then we have the FRA grant in partnership with a whole bunch of people.

1:06

Again, really excited about that.

1:07

I've mentioned that to all of you guys during

Unassigned speaker

1:09

our

Speaker 1

1:10

one-on-ones.

1:11

So it's kind of train night in a

Unassigned speaker

1:13

way.

Speaker 1

1:14

And then and that's gonna obviously tee that property up for um redevelopment, hopefully.

1:20

Um then we have the green building code regulations, big part of our climate action plan.

1:28

And then we have updates to the fire code again, pretty important.

Unassigned speaker

1:33

I

Speaker 1

1:33

don't think anything really dicey.

1:35

Any questions about the action items tonight?

1:40

All righty.

1:41

Anything else at all for tonight?

1:45

Fantastic.

1:46

Let's go ahead and put up the next agenda.

1:50

All right, there's January 5th.

1:54

Just really quick, we do plan on getting that agenda out this week.

1:58

There's no reason unless unless a meteor hits, we're gonna get the agenda out within the next couple of days.

2:06

All right, we have a proclamation for MLK Day.

2:24

Nothing else

Speaker 2

2:24

on there.

Speaker 1

2:28

Well, I know we have a couple things.

2:30

We have the uh rules of procedure, and then we also have a work session.

2:36

There it is.

2:37

Rules or procedures and action item, and then we have a work session on budget priorities.

2:43

It's kind of a recap of what we heard

Unassigned speaker

2:45

from

Speaker 1

2:45

residents so far, um, just very lightly on the on the key initiatives you guys identified,

Unassigned speaker

2:51

and

Speaker 1

2:51

then to see if there's any other priority or points of emphasis you guys want us to consider as we build a budget.

2:58

Anything else for January 5th, Mayor Ashton.

Speaker 3

3:04

Thank you.

3:05

Uh the county has just looked at um their budget forecasts and impacts on uh the federal um government chefs.

3:14

I just wanted to give a heads up that I will be just making sure we're in good shape or just seeing how we're forecasting potentially lower income or property uh values.

3:25

So I just wanted to see if there's anything that we should be aware of um because of federal for a lot or um things that relate to uh job loss and potential lower property taxes.

3:37

If I know you did that for us last year, I just wanted to flag that again this year.

Speaker 1

3:41

Yep, we'll get it in the minutes and we'll make sure the finance team is on it

Unassigned speaker

3:45

and

Speaker 1

3:46

we'll get there.

3:47

Thank you for for bringing that up really early, Mayor.

3:49

I always appreciate that.

3:50

Good morning, Zola.
