The Round Rock City Council met on October 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Good evening. Tonight's invitation will be given by Reverend Dave Corner of First United Methodist Church. Reverend, thank you for being here. Thank you, Mayor, Council members, city officials, welcome and my fellow citizens. Glad you're here tonight. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we gather here today to serve our community and seek your guidance in our deliberations. We thank you for the privilege of being able to contribute to the well-being of our city. Grant us wisdom and clarity as we discuss the matters before us. Help us to make decisions that are just and in the best interests of all of our citizens. May our actions reflect it, reflect integrity and compassion, and may we always strive to serve with humility and respect. We lift up to you those who are facing hardship from hurricanes and flooding in our country. Provide them with the strength, comfort, and the resources they need to rebuild their lives. We also pray for those affected by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the Ukraine, and beyond. Bring peace to those regions, regions, protect the innocent, and guide leaders towards resolutions that promote justice and harmony. We ask for your blessings on this meeting and on our community.
