The Sacramento Active Transportation Commission met via teleconference on April 21, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting included approval of prior meeting minutes and the commission log, staff updates, discussions on several trail and corridor projects, a vote on grant applications, and formation of an ad hoc committee.

- Active Transportation Program Cycle 6 Grant Applications (Item 8): Jennifer Donlon Wyant outlined four recommended grant applications: 1) Urban Core Bikeway Gap Closures (small quick‑builds), 2) Envision Broadway in Oak Park (design/construction), 3) Franklin Blvd Complete Streets Phase 3, and 4) a Sustainable Transportation Plan (to update pedestrian, bike, and transit plans with an equity focus). The commission voted to forward the recommendation to City Council.
- Ad Hoc Committee to Report to City Council on Status of Walking and Bicycling (Item 9): Commissioner Tim Smith proposed forming an ad hoc committee to prepare a report on active transportation priorities, needs, and accomplishments. After discussion, the commission voted to form the committee. Volunteers included Vice Chair Paullins, Commissioners Smith, Buenrostro, and Chair Doerr Westbrook.
