The Budget and Audit Committee held a special meeting on September 24, 2024, at 1:38 p.m. in the Sacramento City Hall Council Chamber. Vice Chair Karina Talamantes presided in the absence of Chair Darrell Steinberg. Consent Calendar
- Approved the Budget and Audit Committee meeting minutes from June 25, 2024 (File ID 2024-00282).
- Accepted the City Auditor's Activity Report for the 4th Quarter of Fiscal Year 2023/24 (File ID 2024-01418) and forwarded it to City Council for approval.
- Accepted the City Auditor's Recommendation Follow-Up Report for the Six-Month Period Ending June 30, 2024 (File ID 2024-01467) and forwarded it to City Council for approval.
- Accepted the City Auditor's Whistleblower Hotline Activity Report for the Period April 2022 through June 2024 (File ID 2024-01468) and forwarded it to City Council for approval.

May we acknowledge and honor Native people who came before us and still walk beside us today on these ancestral lands by choosing to gather together today in the active practice of acknowledgement and appreciation for Sacramento's Indigenous People's History, contributions, and lives.
