- Item 2 – Civil Service Board 2022 Calendar: Board Member Hunter expressed concern that Monday meetings at 2:00 p.m. are challenging for her schedule. After discussion, Chair Byrd noted the calendar had already been approved by the City Council on November 16, 2021, and could be amended later with a special meeting. Board Member Hunter agreed to work with the schedule. The board then passed a motion to approve the 2022 calendar as presented.

Thank you, Chair. We are live. Okay, thank you so much. I apologize. My I'm not able to be on video today, but um as you said, hopefully you can hear me okay. Um so I would like to call this meeting of the civil service board to order. It's December 6th and it's one o'clock. Um do you mind uh um reading for us our um the script related to the public in participation? Yes, chair, thank you. And I will start with a roll call to establish quorum members. Please turn on your cameras and unmute. Board member cabatic board member hunter Hi there, present. Board Member Mayola. Vice Chair Amanfor. And Chair Byrd is online. Yes, I am here, thank you. Thank you. We do have a quorum. This meeting is virtual via Zoom for members of the public who wish to join. Please refer to the agenda for the Zoom link. Once you have joined the meeting and wish to speak, you can raise your hand to provide public comment. When the chair confirms the public comment speaking period for your desired item has begun. If you are online, click on raise hand on the bottom of your screen. If you are in the mobile app, you can raise your hand by tapping the raise hand option in the more tab. If you are calling in via telephone to raise your hand dial star nine, then to unmute or mute dial star six. Speakers will be called on by the last four digits of their phone numbers. You will have two minutes to speak once you are called on. And that concludes my introduction, Chair. Thank you. Thank you. Um we will take up the consent calendar. Uh were there any consent calendar that anybody wanted to take pull off of the consent calendar to discuss separately the minutes or the calendar for next year. This is uh Ms. Hunter. I just wanted to confirm Mondays are um my worst days. Um I will make it work, but I just wanted to confirm that there weren't weren't any other options available that we might consider for the 2022 calendar year. Okay, well, let's pull that off of the consent calendar um and proceed with the consent calendar first. Um and I will take a motion for that, and then we'll come back to that. Thank you.
