We will proceed with today's agenda. Please rise for the open acknowledgments in honor of Sacramento's indigenous people and tribal lands. federally recognized tribe. May we acknowledge and honor the native people who came before us and still walk beside us today on these ancestral lands by choosing to gather today together in the active practice of acknowledgement and appreciation for Sacramento's indigenous people's history, contribution and lives. Thank you. Please remain standing for the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Our first business today is approval of the consent calendar actually before that. I'm sorry I'm going to turn it over to Clerk Fred Berg with regard to a dedication. Thank you chair. This next item is a recognition of dedication and service to the civil service board for Vice Chair Gonzales Kabatik. As this is the last regular scheduled meeting before your current term expires, the office of the city clerk would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for your service on the civil service board. Your service has been invaluable to this commission as well as the city of Sacramento. I'll now give you a certificate of service and if you'd like to say a couple words about your service or any of the other commissioners would like to say anything, please feel free. All right. Thank you. I wasn't ready for this. So you're putting me on the spot. So I guess a few words is just to thank the city for the opportunity to sit on this board. I've learned so much about what we do in the city and the different processes and hoping that I have made an impact in my few years that I've been here and I want to thank my fellow board members for providing guidance and for the ones who are more experienced learn from you and all the different different hearings that we've attended.
