The Sacramento Community Police Review Commission (SCPRC) held a regular meeting on April 10, 2023, at City Hall. The request includes four sections: SPD accountability and organizational culture, community engagement, MEU policies, and budget transparency. The motion passed unanimously (10 ayes, 0 nays).
- Item 5 – Follow-Up Log: Commissioners discussed the backlog of requests (e.g., training on new use-of-force policy, invitation to City Attorney Chu, vendor screening). Commissioner Bliss will compile a list of all past recommendations for new commissioners. The Community Advancement Academy (fall 2023) and ride-along/sit-along programs were highlighted as opportunities for commissioner engagement.
