Come up at the end, whether we have people come at the beginning.

There was some sentiment from the body here that we wanted to give the public ample opportunity to speak to us on items not on the agenda.

Is that we will ask now if there are members who want to speak to us on items that are not on the agenda.

We will also ask again at the end of the meeting.

However, if during the meeting someone has that wants to fill out a slip and give it to our staff person, those slips will be given to me.

I certainly would not interrupt the flow in order to have somebody speak to us on an item not on the agenda.

However, when we finished a major portion of an item before we go on to the next item, I would ask the will of the body whether or not we would be willing to hear that person at that time or whether we should have them simply wait to the end.

We'll obviously let circumstances dictate if the meeting is going to be over in five minutes, they might as well wait to the end.

However, if it's a pressing circumstance for that citizen who has a dying desire to for us to hear from them, and there's going to be a while, the body could take that up as long as it's the will of the body.

And that's the suggestion.

If that's okay with everybody, that's what I plan to do.

I'd like to highlight uh three areas for you that have been going on of recent.

Firstly, is the media coverage.

Uh there were uh in the last week about at least five different uh media articles.

Uh the first was uh, and and by the way, we're gonna post all of these on our redistricting website, um, although I want to note that we don't affirm the accuracy of the articles nor express a view regarding the opinions expressed in those articles.
